1. Audio exposure
Keep the phone away from ears and other people and animals. Begin with the lowest audible media volume and never raise the volume just because a high-frequency tone seems inaudible to you. Children and animals may hear frequencies differently, and listeners' sensitivity varies. Do not run the app unattended or near sleeping people, infants, pets or wildlife.
2. Software limits do not equal physical safety
The current app restricts the digital frequency setting to approximately 100–18,000 Hz, the generated PCM peak to 8% of full scale, and playback when the device media volume exceeds 60% of the system maximum. Its timed sessions are 5, 10, 15 or 30 minutes; there is no intended continuous or overnight playback. These are engineering safeguards, not calibrated sound-pressure measurements. Individual phone speakers, equalizers and operating-system behaviour may affect the actual output.
3. Stop conditions
The app is designed to stop or refuse playback when device safety rules are triggered, including low battery, severe thermal warnings, audio-focus loss, backgrounding and external audio-route restrictions. These checks reduce some foreseeable risks but do not prevent every hardware, operating-system, user or environmental failure. Monitor playback yourself.
4. No effectiveness claims
Example mosquito, insect, rodent, bird and dog/cat frequency profiles do not establish that the app can repel, deter, attract or modify any animal's behaviour. Do not rely on the app to prevent bites, illness, infestation, property damage or animal encounters. Use evidence-based preventive measures and professional guidance where appropriate.
5. Chakra and relaxation associations
The listed chakra-associated tones (for example 396, 417, 528, 639, 741, 852 and 963 Hz) are modern optional meditation conventions. There is no established evidence that a particular frequency activates a chakra or provides a unique therapeutic, psychological or sleep effect. The availability of a frequency does not make the app a healthcare service.
6. Who should avoid use
Anyone who finds tones uncomfortable, experiences ringing, dizziness, headache, distress, or other adverse symptoms should stop. If you have concerns about hearing, sound sensitivity or a medical condition, consult a qualified professional before using experimental audio; this notice is not medical advice. Never use sound exposure to discipline, frighten or control animals.
