1. Who we are and what this policy covers
This Privacy Policy describes the Layaswarna Android application (package in.berhampore.dhar.layaswarna) and this related informational website at layaswarna.berhampore.in. “We”, “our”, and “the publisher” refer to the developer publishing Layaswarna under that name in Google Play. Privacy enquiries may be sent to support@berhampore.in.
2. Data handled by the Android app
As implemented in the version identified in this policy, the app is designed to operate fully offline. It does not require an account or internet connection; it does not request the Android permissions for internet access, microphone, camera, contacts, location or external file storage; and the included application dependencies do not contain advertising or analytics SDKs.
The app does not intentionally transmit personal information, saved sound presets, listening choices, or device identifiers to us or an advertising/analytics provider. It does not sell personal data or share app-stored user data with third parties.
Information stored locally
To make the app function, your device stores selected sound profile, tone frequency or range, waveform, digital gain setting, session duration, welcome/safety acknowledgements, and any named sound presets you create. These items are retained in Android application-private preferences on your device. Sound is generated locally; the app does not record microphone audio, your surroundings or conversations.
App operation and safety checks
The app accesses limited device state needed for local safety and operation, such as media volume, battery level, thermal condition, audio-route availability and audio-focus changes. These checks are processed locally to permit, stop, or limit playback. We do not receive this information through the app.
3. Third-party platforms
Layaswarna may be downloaded through Google Play. Google and the Android operating system may independently process installation information, app diagnostics, crash reports, payment-related information (if applicable to platform operations), device data or other platform telemetry under their own privacy practices. These platform operations are separate from data collection performed by the Layaswarna app. For details, review Google's Privacy Policy.
4. The privacy website and emails
The static pages on this site do not include ads, analytics beacons, third-party fonts, interactive tracking scripts or marketing cookies. To deliver pages, the hosting and network providers must technically process connection metadata such as the source IP address and request information. Our supplied web-server configuration disables ordinary access logs; a hosting provider or network operator may still process necessary metadata for security, routing or legal compliance.
If you voluntarily contact us by email, we receive and process the information you send (for example your email address, name if included, description of the problem and any attachments) solely to respond, investigate a report and meet applicable legal obligations. Your email provider and ours may independently process those communications. Please do not send unnecessary sensitive information, recordings or personal identifiers.
5. Retention and deletion
App settings and presets remain on your phone until you clear them using the app's Settings screen or uninstall the app. Android normally deletes the app's private storage when the app is uninstalled. The app declares Android backup disabled; other device-level mechanisms remain subject to the operating system and your device configuration. Because the publisher does not receive these locally stored preferences, we cannot retrieve them remotely or delete them on your behalf.
Support email content is kept only as long as reasonably necessary to answer the enquiry, address disputes or security concerns and meet applicable legal obligations. You may request correction or deletion of support communications by contacting us at the address above, subject to lawful retention requirements.
6. Security
Local app preferences are stored in Android's private application storage, and the app does not use an online account or our own remote database. The policy website uses HTTPS once deployed. No software, device, electronic communication or internet service can be guaranteed perfectly secure; we do not promise absolute security.
7. Children and third parties
Layaswarna is not specifically designed for children and should not be used by a child without appropriate adult supervision. Please do not use the app to distress, control or disturb children, other people, pets or wildlife. See the Sound Safety Notice.
8. Your choices and rights
You can stop using the app at any time, adjust its local settings, clear saved data or uninstall it. If applicable privacy law gives you rights regarding information you voluntarily provided to us through email, you may contact us to exercise them. We will assess requests under applicable law.
9. Policy updates
We may update this policy if the app, website, laws or data handling change. The effective/updated date at the top will be revised, and material new data practices will be disclosed before they are introduced where required. We will also update the Google Play Data safety disclosures as necessary.
